Meet Brandon

Brandon Bakke is the author of The Ordinary Extraordinary Solider, The Letters and Journey of WW2 Mechanic SSG George Henderson 80th Infantry Division. 

Brandon is the Director of Secondary Education for the the CharacterStrong organization. He served as a high school principal in Washington State for twenty years, and is an author, and speaker. 

He earned his BA in History from Fresno State University where he played basketball from 1991-1996.  He earned his MA in Educational Leadership from City University of Seattle. He was a high school history teacher, high school basketball coach, and college assistant basketball coach prior to becoming a school administrator. He resides with his wife Sherrie in Puyallup, Washington and has two children.
